Update from Famdabidosy penny auctions:
"As many of you have probably noticed, our timers have become very erratic. They will freeze for a few seconds or count down the time in an erratic fashion. We have attempted to cure the problem by doubling our server capacity. This has not solved the problem. We are now bringing the software developer back to have his team dissect the problem. As such we will be closed on Monday for this maintenance.
However, it has become clear that this type of software is complex enough that it requires on going maintenance. In order to accomodate this need and disrupt our auctions as little as possible, we are making a schedule change. Famdabidosy Auctions will now operate on a 5 1/2 day schedule. We will be closed on Mondays and operate just a half day on Wednesdays. The auctions on Wednesdays will begin around 7:30 pm and go until approximately 12:30 am. There are several other changes which we hope will make it easier than ever to have more winners. We will also begin having more bid packs for sale at special prices to make it easier to acquire bids. Look for these announcements in the next few days. Again, we are sorry but we will be closed this Monday for some site maintenance. Today's and tomorrow's auctions will most likely continue to operate in an erratic manner. For the most part this will not affect the outcome of an auction. However, if the timers create any doubt in your mind please do not participate in the auctions for the next couple of days. As always, our staff will make the final determination of the outcome of an auction. Thanks for your understanding and much good luck at the auctions."
